Today, I will be reviewing Utama Spice lavender coconut lotion infused with pure lavender essential oil. I always prefer using thick hydrating moisturizers for my dry, rough skin in winters. My Experience With Utama Spice Lavender Coconut Lotion:

(Body Skin Type: Dry)

My body skin becomes extra dry, flaky during winters. I absolutely love using coconut oil in the form of either body oil or moisturizer for my skin in the winter season. And when it comes with my favourite fragrance Lavender essential oil then it’s a win-win situation!!

Utama Spice lavender coconut lotion comes in a 230 ml, long, transparent plastic bottle packaging with a pump dispenser. The lavender floral display makes the product look beautiful. The product information like ingredients, product description, company details all is printed on the packaging.

Product Texture:

Utama Spice lavender coconut lotion has a smooth, creamy texture with a thick consistency. I couldn’t detect any coconut oil scent in it; rather it releases a strong lavender fragrance upon application. It smells heavenly!!

How to (I) use Utama Spice Lavender Coconut Lotion:

To moisturize my skin, I take 1-2 pumps of this lavender coconut lotion into my palm and apply it liberally on my damp skin.

Product Performance:

I love pump packaging bottles as it’s hygienic in nature and dispenses the right amount of product every time you use. I need a generous amount of this lotion to moisturize my dry body skin. Usually, body lotions or butter with coconut oil tend to feel greasy or oily but this natural lotion is absolutely non-greasy. It feels super light on the skin. Moreover, its soothing divine fragrance rejuvenates the senses!

When applied, it spreads nicely but takes a few seconds to get absorbed into the skin. I use Utama Spice lemongrass ginger body butter in the morning and this lavender coconut lotion at night. WHY? Do you want to know why I use this particular body lotion with lavender oil at night before sleep? It’s because I have insomnia and anxiety issues. And lavender essential oil helps improve sleep quality, reduces anxiety and promotes the feeling of relaxation that (indirectly or directly) helps me fall asleep faster! *peace*

I appreciate that Utama Spice makers have used natural lavender oil fragrance instead of any awful synthetic fragrance in it. Aside from lavender oil, this body lotion has other skin-loving ingredients for dry skin such as coconut oil (plant oil), soya oil (plant oil), Cetearyl Olivate, Sorbitan Olivate, Kaolin, Glycerin, citric acid, etc.

Now, did it live up to my expectation? Yes! It does what it claims! It keeps my rough parched skin hydrated for a long time say about 6- 7 hours minus the greasiness. The room heater is causing more dryness this season but I’m pretty sure, in summers this will keep my skin moisturized for a longer duration. Besides, I am getting a good sleep every night, what more I could have asked for!! This pure natural lavender coconut body lotion is ideal for all skin types and seasons.
