Doors open at Vancouver Art and Leisure at 1pm, and by 1:30 this guided walk through the streets of the city will take participants to both landmarks and some little known spots, all of which are great for capturing fetish photography.
At 3pm those who wish to leave the walk for the second block of workshops (beginning at 3:30) will have a chance to return via near-by Chinatown/Stadium Skytrain station to make the way back to the Vancouver Art & Leisure Centre.
Those who attended the first block of workshops will find the safari at Waterfront Station at approx. 3:30pm

Things to know for the Safari:
✔ Bring your camera to snap pics, but please get permission before snapping the picture of others on the walk
✔ Bring transit fare! We will be boarding a skytrain from Main Street station to Stadium/Chinatown, and at the end of the safari we will need to return from Waterfront Station to Main Street
✔ Depending on the weather you may want to bring an umbrella
✔ We will be covering a lot of ground - even if you love heels, you may want to bring a comfortable pair of walking shoes
✔ Bring drinking water, particularly if you are wearing HOT fetish wear such as latex, leather or PVC
✔ Keep in mind we are in public - if you are shy about being seen by people not with the safari you may want to wear a mask
✔ Be respectful of the general public - there are no laws that prohibit ANYONE going topless in public, but genitals should be covered, and please be aware of your behaviour when children are nearby

THE GENERAL ROUTE:
Departing from VA&L at about 1:30pm we will make our way down towards Science World, stopping along the way to take pictures.
We will be taking the Skytrain from Main Street to Stadium/ Chinatown, and then making our way to the public section of Dr. Sun YatSen Classical Chinese Garden.
After a brief stay there we will make our way to the historic Woodward's Building.
Along the way, at 3:00, we will bid goodbye to those who wish to make it to the second block of workshops.
Then we proceed through Gastown to Waterfront Station, where at 3:30 we will meet those who attended the first block of workshops but wish to join up with the Photo Safari afterwards.
We will proceed up to the courtyard west of Waterfront Station, which affords some great photography with diverse backgrounds: the city to the south, Canada Place just to the west, and the docks with their orange industrial cranes to the east.
Finally, we will make our way down to the new Convention Centre, which offers many great places to photograph, including the Olympic Cauldron, several public art pieces, and the Vancouver Seaplane docks.
From there we shall return to Vancouver Art and Leisure as the day portion of WOK wraps up - and hopefully we'll see everyone back for the Closing Gala hosted by Velvet Steele!
