With your New Year's Eve party only a few hours away, you've run out of time to buy a new outfit.
Rest assured, there are several ways to quickly spruce up your look without a trip to the mall. Just think outside the box and switch up your hairdo.
FEMAIL rounds up four easy hairstyles that are sure to wow, including one by celeb stylist, Bryce Scarlett, that can be done in under a minute in the backseat of a car.
Spruce up your look: For added oomph, cluster a few hair accessories all on one side, à la Hailey Bieber
Use accessories from your local drugstore
While a trip to CVS or Duane Reade usually involves picking up cold medication toilet paper or toothpaste, you might want to mosey on over to your local drugstore's hair-care aisle.
Barrettes and clips bedazzled with rhinestones can create festive flare to just about any look – no matter where you got them from.
For added oomph cluster a few all on one side, à laHailey Bieber at the Zadig & Voltaire fashion show during New York Fashion Week, and Kendall Jenner in London.

Add a touch of sparkle with glitter
If nothing in the hair accessory aisle catches your eye, try the school supplies section. Rob Peetoom’s Master Stylist, Linda de Zeeuw, reveals how to go from office chic to party glam in no time with a little glitter.
1. Prep the hair with the Davines This Is A No Gas Hairspray, taking sections and spraying the product at the root
2. Comb it through and bring your hair up in a ponytail using a neutral colored hair tye
3. If you want to add even more drama, braid or twist the tail
4. Take a little piece of hair from the bottom of the ponytail, prep with the Hairspray, then twist this piece around the rubber band and secure with a bobby pin
5. Use a glitter gel to sparkle up the base of the ponytail. Use your fingertips or a paintbrush to apply the glitter and work with the grain of the hair to prevent the hair from frizzing

Celebrity stylist, Bryce Scarlett (whose A-list clientele includes Margot Robbie, Charlize Theron and Gigi Hadid, to name a few) gave Daily Mail's US Style Director, Pandora Amoratis, a quick tutorial on how to do her hair in the backseat of a car in under 1 minute.
First, Bryce advises choosing a style that will complement what you are wearing. In Pandora's case, it's a side swept look to highlight the one-shoulder dress she will be wearing this evening.
'Start with dry shampoo,' said the pro. 'If you’re going to have anything in your bag on the go, dry shampoo is it; it's going to refresh and eliminate any oils, and give you volume and texture – it’s a real fix all.'
For a one-shoulder style 'choose whatever side of your face you like,' shares Bryce.
'I always say it’s the eyebrow, everyone has their better eyebrow, you should show that.'
With a boar bristle brush or your fingertips sweep hair to one side. While we've become accustom to think that using a lot of product weighs down the hair Bryce explains that the right hairspray is actually your friend.
'Because it’s Argan oil based, Moroccanoil’s hairspray isn't a crunchy strong hold thing, it just gives you a little bit of hold but a lot of flexibility. I use their hairspray the most.'
Finish off the look with a hair clip of any kind, or even ribbon per Bryce's suggestion.

Rummage through your jewelry chest for bling
No time to buy a hair accessory? Reach for your favorite chandelier earrings or bejeweled necklace.
After securing the hair in your desired style, use bobby pins to fasten down a few baubles.
Long rhinestone-encrusted earrings placed on opposite sides of a part make for a beautiful crown, sans headache. A choker necklace can have the same effect, and looks stunning around a bun.
